A Sound Bath event on November full moon was hosted at Metohi Istoria, a captivating 15th-century Venetian estate in Chania, Crete. During this full moon gathering, we cleansed our energetic bodies, elevated our vibrations and engaged in Karma Yoga. All proceeds from the event were donated to “The Smile of the Child”, a Greek organization dedicated to addressing all forms of violence against children.
Angeliki Rebelou, a yoga and meditation teacher at Yoga Class Chania, guided us through a session of focused breathing and meditation, grounding us in our physical bodies. Following this grounding, we immersed ourselves in the therapeutic sounds produced by Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs and other sound healing instruments, under the guidance of sound therapist Manolis Zografakis.
